Why is the review course from GRVR Attorneys the best?
- 94% Passing Rate - You'll find it much harder to pass the exam without our course. Nationwide, perhaps 5% of people who take the customs broker exam pass. The passing rate is an astronomical 94% for our students who do all their assigned homework and attend a boot camp. No other course comes close.
- We Teach You How To Pass - We don't just lecture. That would be easy on us, but it wouldn't teach you the unique skills you need to pass the exam. We teach you how to pass the exam. We tell you what to study and what not to study. We provide you personalized homework, and we drill you with actual quizzes and exams to reinforce areas of weaknesses. We work through actual exam questions with you.
- Our Guarantee - We are so confident of our course (especially since we know almost for certain that you will pass), that we guarantee you'll pass. No one else guarantees their course. (more on the guarantee below)
- No Sticker Shock Or Hidden Costs - We give you all our course for $1,499. You get the online course plus a boot camp.
- Available 24/7 Online - Our online course is available 24/7. No commute. No high gasoline prices. All you need is a connection to the Internet and an email address (your access code is based on your unique email address).
- Tutoring Sessions and Personalized Homework - Our course provides tutoring sessions and individualized homework.
- Our Instructors Are Attorneys Who Passed The Broker Exam - The customs broker exam deals solely with rules, laws, and regulations that a customs broker must follow to assist with imports into the US. Who better to guide you than a seasoned customs attorney, one who actually sat for and passed the customs broker exam? All of our instructors are customs attorneys who passed the broker exam, something that again sets us apart from the field.
- Boot Camps - We hold boot camps in about 3 or 4 locations nationwide. You can attend (indeed, we encourage you to attend) as part of your registration fee. (more on boot camps below)
- Testimonials And More Testimonials - Our course has tons of fans -- people who took our course and passed the broker exam. They are not shy about their enthusiasm for our course. Some of their testimonials appear on this page.
Will the instructor tell me what to study?
The online course is self-directed. The course tells you what to study and what not to study. It allows you to devise your own plan of attack. There are approximately 30 topics that you must know well to pass the broker test. Our material, supplemented with dozens of quizzes and tests, will help you achieve this goal. The course’s flexibility empowers you to decide when and what to study.
The instructor directs you during a boot camp. She/he will tell you what to study, will go over sample test questions, and will assign individualized homework.
The instructor will also assign homework during the tutoring sessions.
Do I need special software for the online course?
All you need is an Internet connection. We suggest that you try a demo (see below).

If you do not pass our customs broker exam after taking our course, you may again take and have full access to the course (including attendance to a boot camp) without having to again pay a registration fee.
Conditions: To qualify for our guarantee, you must attend all tutoring sessions, complete all assigned homework, complete all assigned quizzes and exams (and submit results to us in a timely fashion), attend every day of the boot camp (if you choose to take a boot camp) and participate fully (including completing all homework and bringing to each class the HTSUS and the 19 CFR.) You must request continued access to the course within one month of receiving your exam score and must provide proof of registration for the next exam. We do not guarantee that we will offer the course again in the future. There is no refund under our guarantee.
Is there a Demo?
We offer a demo course for you to get a sense of what the online course offers. We strongly encourage you to try the demo course before purchasing our course. We do not offer any refunds on our courses.
To request a demo, use our online contact form. Please fill in all information and specify that you are requesting a demo for the customs broker course (we offer other courses).
Do I have to purchase materials?
While our online course is self-contained and does not require that you purchase anything in addition, you will need additional resources to sit for the exam and to attend a boot camp. The customs broker exam requires that you have the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) and Title 19 of the Code of Federal Regulations. We advise that you secure these as soon as you register for the course. Our course provides a White Binder with everything else you will need for the exam.
How do the weekly tutoring sessions work?
Our instructors hold one-hour weekly telephonic sessions. We email students with the access code. Students will be able to pose questions to the instructor and exchange ideas with the other students that are calling in.
Do I have to register for the customs broker exam separately?
Yes, the $1,499 fee covers only our course. You will have to register directly with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). CBP has strict deadlines for submitting your application. We are not responsible and cannot refund your course fee if you fail to register. To register, contact CBP.
Are there group discounts?
Yes. We offer discounts. Please contact us for more information.
May I pay by credit card?
Yes. You may pay through this website.
May I pay by check?
Yes. There is a delay, of course, when compared to online payment, but we gladly accept checks. Make checks payable to EILI and mail to P.O. Box 1666, Allen, Texas 75013.

We are open from 9 am-6 pm, Central, M-F. If you pay online after hours, we will register you as soon as we can during the next business day. Once you are registered, the online course is available 24/7 through the exam date.
